Hello,

I'm reading a CYA manual and can't figure out what they mean. Hein ? - confused smiley Anyone knows what "hull curving using the banana effect" means?

«Body steering puts the tiller hand against the life jacket and
forces the sailor to move his body outwards to bear off and inwards to head up.
This has three effects. It forces a microphone grip, makes erratic over steering
difficult, and is a precursor to hull curving using the banana effect.»
